Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, uploading content, or using any feature of Teachpert, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

What Teachpert Does

Teachpert is an AI-powered teacher evaluation platform. It analyzes classroom audio and video recordings using Large Language Models and Computer Vision to provide objective, data-driven feedback and performance metrics to support teacher professional development.

Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must be a teacher, mentor, or authorized educational professional to use this platform. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration.
• Keep your account credentials confidential and not share them with others.
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.

Subscriptions and Billing

Teachpert offers a free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis via our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. By subscribing, you authorize Lemon Squeezy to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. See our Refund Policy for details.

Free Tier Limits

Free accounts are limited to two video or audio analyses per calendar month. Limits reset on the first day of each month. Upgrading to a paid plan removes all usage limits.

Content Ownership and Upload Requirements

You confirm that:

• Any recording you upload is your own classroom session and you have the right to share it.
• You have obtained all necessary consents from individuals appearing in the recording, including students, co-teachers, or other participants.
• You retain ownership of your uploaded content. You grant Teachpert a limited license to process and analyze the content solely to provide evaluation feedback.

Recording Requirements for Accurate Analysis

To ensure accurate analysis, you agree to:

• Speak at the beginning of the recording so the system can correctly identify you.
• Be clearly visible and occupy a prominent position in the video frame.
• Keep the camera position relatively stable throughout the recording.

Data Collection and Use

The platform collects and processes:

• Video and audio recordings of classroom sessions
• Speech transcriptions and lesson plans
• Analysis results and performance scores

This data is used exclusively to generate feedback, provide teaching insights, and improve the platform. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising.

Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• Encryption of data in transit via HTTPS and TLS 1.2+
• Encryption of data at rest across all storage providers
• Strict access controls and audit logging
• Integration with certified providers compliant with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA where applicable

Third-Party Services

The platform uses the following third-party services:

• Soniox — speech-to-text transcription and audio analysis
• Firebase — secure data storage and user authentication
• Backblaze B2 — encrypted cloud file storage
• Google Gemini — AI-powered analysis and feedback generation

Limitations of AI Analysis

Automated analysis has inherent limitations and should not be the sole basis for career or administrative decisions. Results are intended for professional development, not definitive judgments of teaching quality. Variations in teaching style, subject matter, and classroom context may affect accuracy.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Upload content you do not have rights to share
• Upload recordings containing individuals who have not consented to being recorded
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or compromise the platform's security
• Misrepresent analysis results or use them to harm others
• Use the platform for any illegal or unethical purpose

Data Retention and Deletion

Your data is retained only as long as necessary to provide the service. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from your account settings. All data will be permanently removed within 30 days of a verified deletion request.

Limitation of Liability

The platform is provided as-is without warranties. We are not liable for decisions made based on analysis results. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the past twelve months.
